http://www.petitiononline.com/sikh1699/petition.html Sign a petiton against Sajjan Kumar and Jagdish Tytler; who acted as the henchmen of Rajiv Gandhi in arranging right wing extremist mobs and orchestrating riots in Delhi in 1984 with the sole aim of raping, butchering and burning as many innocent Sikhs as possible. Who knows if we'll ever get justice? But giving up would be tantamount to an acceptance of ethnic cleansing of our community. Don't lose faith Peace

WJKK WJKF Dear fellow British Sikhs with whats look like an election year I am curious what are the voting intentions are of the Sikhs. Overwhelmingly British Sikhs vote Labour but as a Sikh I feel the Labour Party for far too long taken our votes for granted. I feel the Labour Government has let the Sikhs down in the following areas:- 1) Introduction of Student Fees (affected Sikhs & Hindus the most because as an ethnic group we are have the largest percentage that go on to University). 2) The failure to introduce positive discrimation. Sikhs vastly under represented in the Public Sector (NHS, Police, Armed Forces) Directorships, Media, Sports, Politics. etc. …

Hi guys, I've always been intereseted in information regarding the Guru's, heres what I understand so far: Guru Nanak Dev ji was said to have started to farm in his elderly age to maintain his health and actually passed away at a very old age? Guru Hargobind Singh ji was said to have been the tallest of all the Guru's, he was said to be 7 feet and 45 inches from one shoulder to the other; theres a Dhaliwal family somewhere in Sangrur(I think) and they have a robe of Guru ji adding some evidence to that claim. An example of his physical feats, I was told he had this Pathan employeed who could crush a metal coin with one fist and carry a full grown buffalo over both shou…

FUNERAL MARRED BY CLASHES Community leaders in the US are calling for calm following the murders of a family of Egyptian immigrants. There are fears the killings in New Jersey may have been motivated by religious hatred after threats appeared on an internet chatroom. The bodies of Hossam Armanious, 47, his 37-year-old wife, Amal Garas, and their daughters, Sylvia, 15, and Monica, eight, were found bound and gagged on Friday. The family, who had arrived in New Jersey in 1997, had been stabbed repeatedly in the throat and head. Mr Armanious and his family belonged to the Coptic Orthodox Church, a type of Christianity followed by about 10% of Egypt's population. Auth…

Vaheguru Jee Ka Khalsa, Vaheguru Jee Kee Fateh A Sikh defence to all the Bezhti stuff going on has finally been published this morning in the Guardian.... /www.guardian.co.uk/arts/features/story/0,11710,1391895,00.html Behind Behtzi Colonial attitudes linger, finding their most xenophobic expression among liberal defenders of free speech Jasdev Singh Rai Monday January 17, 2005 The Guardian Freedoms are never absolute, least of all in multicultural, multiracial societies where responsibilities to co-exist must limit them. Most British people recognise this, which is why the career of the football commentator Ron Atkinson was ended when he made a racist remark. Bri…
