vaheguru ji ka khalsa vaheguru ji ki fateh This article was in sundays news of the world and is online too... really really bad... puts the name sant and khalsa into bad light...there are true sants in this world and true khalsa's but few and far between INVESTIGATION: This coach load of illegal immigrants thought they were going to work... Busted! By Mazher Mahmood I DROVE a mini-bus load of illegals into the arms of the law yesterday—as my expose of an immigration racket run by a Sikh ‘saint' reached its dramatic climax. My passengers—some of whom had posed as Sikh priests to get into the UK —had happily piled into the mini-bus looking forward to jobs I'd pr…

Olaaa Seniorita's and Senior's Had a talk with a christian orthodox from class today... Isn't it true that Sikhi accepts all religions. We have one goal which is to unite with God, however we have different ways of doing that. And one Guru (think its Guru Nanak Ji) said: "be a Sikh, becum a betta Sikh, be a Muslim, becum a betta Muslim, be a Christain, becum a betta Christian" etc. ... to unite with God. Interpretated as acceptance of all religions right?? Or what, plz enlighten me... So he asked... now what if it's a Muslim's duty to kill all the jews? If it's in Islam (Koran) is a good deed to do so and in their eyes he will becum a betta Muslim... ...will he ev…

http://www.hindustantimes.com/news/181_1273897,00110003.htm ------------------------------ India has a reason to toast Oscars 2005, after all. And no, this isn’t about the reflected glory that Born Into Brothels — the Best Documentary (feature) on children in Kolkata’s red light area, Sonagachhi, made by two Brit filmmakers — fetched us. Meet Karansher Singh, Toronto-based animator par excellence. He’s the brains behind Ryan, winner of the Best Short Film (Animated) award at the Academy Awards this year. Singh is a professor of computer graphics and animation at the University of Toronto by calling, but that’s not his claim to fame. The Oscar glory apart, he is also th…

Once in a while i see posts popping up on all forums (akj.org, tapoban, waheguroo, and even here..) about people asking who are the taksalis, or who are the akj, or who are the sadh sangat etc etc .... ... even people keep asking questions such as who are these nirankaris, namdharis, radhoswamis... What i was thinking is make one thread.. (not this one).. but a proper thread where each of these jathas (and on the other hand anti-sikh groups) are explained without b…

Gurfateh Sadh Sangat This is basically a note to let all of you know, who may not be aware, a year ago the French Government put in place a law that stopped all Religious Items being worn in schools. At first they allowed Sikhs to wear Turbans, but over time even took away that right. The Sikh Federation have being helping the 3 young boys who have been taken to court for this matter. Sikh Way Forward are now trying to help as much as they can. Below is an email sent to myself and other organisations in the UK outlining what we can do. We have VERY LITTLE TIME TO ACT! We have at max 4weeks left, but if we say 3weeks you can see the deadline is close. ================…

waheguru ji ka khalsa, waheguru ji ke fateh Pyare jio, a smile is something so simple, but something very few people naturally do. Often it is done with a fakeness. The Dalia lama specifically states the smile is a sign of a spiritual perosn. It shows a person who is content and happy with Bhana that he lives with. Those who know Bhai Sahib Jeevan singh know what an enigmatic smile he has. It lights up a whole rooom. Similarly Bhai Rama Singh was like that. Naam rassia gursikhs have a reddened face, but also have a smile not just on the lips, but the eyes and the rest of the face aswell. Often we as youth miss these simple things in life. The simple things are th…
