I am going share an experience. Today i was listening to chopai sahib very carefully, at the verse before the verses in which date, place is mentioned in the end...i got a very strong shiver in me. I felt all my hairs of body were so much in energy. I felt extreme energy in me (without any reason). I was dumb struck.i got water in my eyes.i can still feel a shivering not of fear but of something xtra ordinary.it was brilliant & still is. The only word from my mouth in shaken voice came out after getting normal was - " waheguru, waheguru, dhan dhan guru gobind singh sahib " every inch of it is true. It was just about half an hour ago. No words for the feeling which i…

He gives prominence and importance to His creation. So God is not against samsara or else why should He create it? Nor is he maya's enemy, or why should He bother with it? So the difficulty encountered by logic had no ground with the devotee. Nanak says not only does He create but He admires His creation and looks at it exultantly, thus giving it honor and importance. Remember, God has created you and having created you he has examined you from all sides, and He is still looking at you constantly as a part of His own handiwork, giving you dignity and importance; and on its own all sin will fade away from your life. If you remember this you will move about as a creation of…

If im honest with myself, I am neither Sikh, Hindu, muslim , or any other name tag, I am a SOUL. A Soul that wants to be united with God some day. A soul trapped in Anger, Ego, Greed, Attachment and Pride. Everday, I get trapped by one of these vices, esp anger. I have wasted precious time in my life giving in to each of these vices, even wasted time on this site venting my "anger" about muslims etc. I was looking for ANSWERS but the answer was always there! If I truly beleive in God I dont need to get angry about who said what or did what to me, my family or people. I dont need to get angry because GOD will punish those who do wrong, and are guilty of a sin, w…

Other synonyms for this word in Indian languages are Divaana, Baura, Baawra, Pagla, Paagal, Kamla etc. Even though the word Majnoo means Divaana but in Punjabi, Hindi and Urdu, this word is used for such person who becomes crazy in love. Mostly, Majnoo is associated with such male lover who goes crazy over infatuation with a female. Guru Nanak whilst on his many travels with his companion Mardana was walking through the depths of a dark jungle. Mardana was tired and asked his Guru,'Lord we have been marching through these wilds for many days. Do you not think that it is time to return to the civilised surroundings of a town or village where we may sleep in a bed with soft pillows?' Guru Nanak smiled at Mardana and said,'Even jungles can be more civilised than town and villages if the name of God is recited and remembered with all your heart.' After showing Mardana the inner realities of the jungle and the inner gifts that lie there it was now the turn of the towns and villages and to reveal what la…

Sat Sri Akal Waheguruji ka Khalsa Waheguruji Ki Fateh What are we doing to Sikhism? What are we doing to our beloved Guru? What about our future? I’m not here to preach to you, I am just giving you a message and I’m sharing with you a view about how to establish a personal relationship with your true Guru. I believe that when we sincerely share our life stories it helps us all in many ways, isn’t it about the truth? I keep hearing about the need of explaining Sri GGSJ, we need to stop this, we are offending Guru and offending our self’s. That is the problem with Sikhism today, they are so many people given their own explanations and interpretations of Sri GGSJ,…
