Check this nonsense below................... SUKHMANI, SIKHI AND FRAUDULENT BABAS:Ritualizing or Spiritualizing? By Karminder Singh Ph.D (Boston) Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Source: http://sikhbulletin.com/Bulletins/Si...SepOct2013.pdf This article has two objectives: to bring about genuine appreciation of Sukhmani Sahib within the Sikh reader’s mind; and secondly to help remove the plethora of dera-concocted myths and tales that have succeeded in turning Sukhmani recital into a ritual. After Japji and Rehras, the Sukhmani is believed to be the most widely recited banee. Why then is there a need to bring about appreciation of banee that is already widely…

Sangat Jio, Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh Today I came across an interesting video that was purely related to my family. Since Childhood I am listening it. Today I googled and found this reference on sikhsangat.com. For the reference of the readers please allow me to copy the content from the link mentioned below. """ In late 1960's, this suleman ghost from iran came in some kid in india. He was buried ages ago in india before guroo's time. Kid was playin around and happen to piss on his "grave". Interesting summary of events, concise and simplified... ------------------------------ There is wisdom in brevity. But there is also a tendency to oversimplify. Often, this happens due to unfamiliarity, a constricted view or, a biased view, and then we can not understand why there is all that hoopla. Events of 1984 were horrendous but they were just a symptom of deep problems and a congenitally inherited survival struggle of the Sikhs, starting, possibly, with the envious acts from the non-Sikh (Hindu) Indians that, lead to the martyrdom of Guru Arjan, the Fifth Guru. Let me try to enumerate at few salient items in a hurry, to the best of my knowledge. They may not …

Quite cool, a sundial or sun clock at Harmandir Sahib. Its from the time of the Sikh empire. I've never seen it before but its along the bridge that connects the Dharshan Deori and Harmandir Sahib. Nice bit of history! hopefully they won't destroy it!

Just finished reading this book and was very touched so had to add here too share. Its a story about a young women who becomes a Singhnee and holds the true Khalsa spirit which should run through all Singhnia out there today. About the hardships faced by the Khalsa during the Moghul rule between 1726 - 1745 AD and how they had to spend most of their lifes hiding in thick forests and mountain recesses and could not move around freely. Very good read! Sundri_20__20Bhai_Vir_Singh.pdf
