A good Christian friend sent me this today, thought it was good to share and see how we could relate it to sikhi.... Resist the Devil Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. James 4:7 (NIV) *** *** *** *** After we've humbled ourselves and submitted to God, we're then told to defy the Devil. We don't passively resign ourselves to his attacks. We're to fight back. The New Testament often describes the Christian life as a spiritual battle against evil forces, using war terms such as fight, conquer, strive, and overcome. Christians are often compared to soldiers serving in enemy territory. How can we resist the Devil? Paul tells u…

Sorry guys newbie here. QUESTION: Now this might be answered in a very short sharp way but I ahve been looking for the answer to this question for agessss. Q: Do Sikhs believe in Adam and Eve? Simple really. If we are all children of God then how did we get here? It would make sense that our roots are with Adam and Eve. And if so, why did Waheguru Ji take so long to spread His word? Why not start straight away. Bul chuk maff :blush21: PS :HP: Ranz_Killa.

Please read it if u thing i m wrong please clarify my doubt i ll help me. Thanks Admin Note: This is your final warning, if you post this topic again or violate forum rules your IP will be banned.

Vaaheguroo Jee Kaa Khaalsaa, Vaaheguroo Jee Kee Fateh Why do some of the sikh say 'Satnam' instead of 'Vaaheguroo Jee Kaa Khaalsaa, Vaaheguroo Jee Kee Fateh'? Because in Sikh Student camp, there was a singh (think he was chinese) and everytime he finished a yoga lesson he said 'satnam' to us instead of saying the fateh, and everyone was confused on what to reply back so we just kind of turned around without sayin anything....does anyone know why they say satnam to start or end a conversation? Vaaheguroo Jee Kaa Khaalsaa, Vaaheguroo Jee Kee Fateh

Dear All reader I want to raise your attention to very a worst thing are allowing by our Delhi Sikh Gurudwara Management Committee that the Ceramony of UTHALA (antim Ardas) and Lanva (marriage Ceramony) held in The Historical Gurudwara like Gurudwara RakabGanj Sahib , Nanak Pio, Gurudwara Motibagh. It is very hot topic which we all should think about same. For money the Management Committee is ruining the importance of these Historical Place. If you ever visit in these Gurudwara Sahib when the ceramonies which I have mention earlier are taking place you must stuck in different mental stage, at this time you have must feel that you are not in a Historical Place and you …

Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh Jio This has long been on my mind, so i thought to share with sangant........with waheguru blessing this paapi with Amrit di daat, just coming up to one year now......i was reflecting on the journey waheguru took me on............and the most visable thing was........that physically........i was one my own..........(but Guru was hamesha ang sang) what i mean to say is.........i would go to listen to katha at Gurdwara, and often would leave feeling abit dazed and the parchaar was (at that time) very deep and i was unable to understand it......... Now a few weeks ago, one of my mates, (who is a Rhadaswami) brought her "Master "Ma…
